How to Install pppoe software package in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr)

pppoe software package provides PPP over Ethernet driver, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,

$ sudo apt-get update
$ sudo apt-get install pppoe

pppoe is installed in your system.

Make ensure the pppoe package were installed using the commands given below,

$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep pppoe *

You will get with pppoe package name, version, architecture and description in a table
